A bizarre scene took place Thursday morning in the Bow River near the Calgary Zoo, after reports came in regarding a truck floating in the Bow River.
A rescue boat was dispatched, and soon after the Calgary Fire Department, Police Service and Alberta Emergency Services descended on to the scene around 6:35am this morning. According to them, there were no occupants inside the vehicle.
A hazardous materials truck was also dispatched to assess the water for leaked fluids.
As of now, it’s unclear how the truck ended up there.
