Alberta Day is almost here, and the Town of High River is getting ready to celebrate!
On Alberta Day or during Alberta Day Celebrations, we spotlight the stories, music and spirit that brings us together and makes Alberta unique. On September 1, 1905, the Alberta Act came into effect and formally established the province of Alberta. To mark this anniversary, September 1st has been declared Alberta Day.

We caught up with Heather Ross from the Town of High River to chat about all the fun happening on Saturday, August 29th at George Lane Memorial Park that evening.
From celebrating Alberta’s history and heritage to bringing the community together – this is going to be a great concert with two incredible Alberta acts!
The award-winning country duo Foxx Worthee and rising country artist Cruz Vallis. Also fun fact, CJWE’s Sarah Scott is gonna be the MC for the evening!
