This years Whoop-Up Days has set a new attendance record over the 5 day event. More than 56,000 people attended, while their pro rodeo has grown more than 250 percent since it’s introduction in 2022. This also marks the third year in a row a new record has been set.
This year’s 56,000 figure represents a 2.8 percent increase over lats years number, while more than 11,000 people visited the Lethbridge and District Pro Rodeo over three days, more than 242 percent since 2022.
The revenue for this year is still being calculated, but last year the event brought in around $280,000. Organizers said the numbers tell them they are on the right path, and will meet to evaluate this years festival, with planning already underway for 2027. Next years dates will be from August 24th to August 28th, 2027.
