As the holiday weekend approaches, the Wilders Institute’s Calgary Zoo is warning guests to take extra care when purchasing tickets online. According to a release, the institute has been receiving an increased number of reports regarding fraudulent ticket websites.
The zoo has already identified multiple unauthorized sites offering admission tickets. While their team works to report the sites, new ones can reappear quickly.
Guests are encouraged to purchase their tickets directly through the official Wilder Institute’s Calgary Zoo website: calgaryzoo.com. Always double check the website before entering payment info, and be cautious of imitation websites. Those believing they have bought tickets from an unauthorized website should contact their financial institution to report the transaction, or contact the zoo’s Guest Relations team at (403) 232-9300.
