Piikani Nation referendum results revealed, Chief and Council to add four additional Councillors

A Piikani Nation referendum took place on October 7th at the Community Hall in Brocket, and the question was to whether or not to increase the number of councilors on Chief and Council.

More than 280 ballots were counted, with the current count sitting at 141 ballots in favour of expanding Chief and Council, and 140 ballots voting no.

Two ballots were also spoiled.
