Rocky View County has posted three draft documents, as part of their Fire Master Plan, which serves as a broader Fire Policy framework. It looks to integrate Fire Service planning into the counties long-term planning and growth management.
As the Fire Master Plan enters Phase 2, Rocky View County is looking for feedback on their drafts of three documents, the Draft Fire Master Plan, the Draft Fire Off-Site Levy Bylaw and the Draft Municipal Development Plan Amendments.
You can find those documents here, as well as links to the surveys to complete. The surveys close November 16th of this year.
The Draft Fire Master Plan looks at the plan for fires over the next few years, while the Draft Fire Off-Site Levy Bylaw looks at the cost of future fire stations and related infrastructure. Lastly, the MDP Amendments highlights 12 amendments to the existing MDP, to better connect future growth with the Fire Master Plan.
