On Oct. 27, 2024, at 5:13 p.m., Redcliff RCMP, responded to a serious motor vehicle collision involving an S.U.V. and a motorcycle, on Highway 1, just east of Boundary Road SE, Redcliff.
Both vehicles were travelling east bound at the time of the collision.
The operator of the motorcycle, a 66-year-old male resident of Medicine Hat, was transported to Medicine Hat Regional Hospital with life threatening injuries and later succumbed to his injuries and died in hospital.
The driver of the S.U.V. was not injured. The cause of this collision is still under investigation.
Redcliff RCMP is asking anyone that may have witnessed the collision, or has dash camera footage from the time of the incident, to contact the Redcliff RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
