The CPKC Holiday Train visits North America cities and towns to raise awareness, funds and collect donations for local food banks.
In addition to the brightly-coloured train cars bringing in the holiday cheer, the tour features musical performances from different artists.
This year’s performers include Kiesza, Dallas Smith, Tyler Shaw, Virginia to Vegas, Grande Prairie’s Tenille Townes, and Medicine Hat’s MacKenzie Porter, among others.
The holiday train will visit Okotoks and Blackie on Monday, December 11. The train will also stop in Vulcan at 3:15 p.m. at the CPKC railway crossing at 1 Ave and 2 Street.
The journey continues to Lethbridge at 7:00 p.m. on the same day, stopping at 2 Ave North and 12 Street North behind Save-On Foods.
The Holiday Train will make stops in Fort Macleod, Pincher Creek and Coleman on Tuesday, December 12.
