Over the next couple of days, Drivers headed west should be aware of a major road closure.
The Trans-Canada Highway in British Columbia is closed until Saturday at midnight.
Progress has been made this winter on the Kicking Horse Canyon project near Golden, B.C. according to the B.C. Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.
It says the highway will be closed at noon Tuesday, April 11th, until Saturday, April 15th.
All traffic on Highway 1 between Golden and Castle Junction in Banff National Park in Alberta will be routed onto highways 93S and 95, which could add up to an hour-and-a-half of travel time.
