The current snowpack level for the Highwood River is now on the low end of the seasonal average for this time of year, and is currently sitting at 278.8 mm if snow water equivalent.
This time last week, the snowpack was sitting at 319.6 mm of snow water equivalent.
The current flow rate of the Highwood River, below the Little Bow Canal, is at 24 cubic metres per second, which is within the normal range.
Typically, the flows for this time of year range from 12 to 30 cubic metres per second.
There is light precipitation in the forecast for the coming week, but no significant changes in river levels are expected.
